Run by experienced Devon-based teachers, Forest & Beach residential stays have received outstanding reviews. A peaceful, private site overlooking Start Bay where children explore, play and investigate nature in a safe and secure environment.Forest & Beach is an independent outdoor learning centre based in beautiful Beeson, South Devon, one mile from the stunning beach at Beesands.
Children can enjoy firelighting, outdoor cooking, shelter-building, beach exploration, investigating aquatic habitats by canoe with 'Singing Paddles', archery, farm and historical walks, and a private lighthouse visit. Children are given time to follow their own line of enquiry so that the natural world around them can excite and stimulate.
Facilities: Eco-barn powered by wind turbine and solar panels, compost loos, new solar powered showers, private woodland, event field for camping, insulated Pod and Yurt.
